I have been using this product for a few years. It works slowly (4-6 days) to really see benefit but sprayed area lasts pretty well. The best thing is that you need only use 5 tablespoons to gal of water. Will kill everything.

A little slow in killing but most effective. Took about five days to kill all in the area that was sprayed. I did not see any affects of runoff from rain to surrounding plants or shrubs.

I've been using this product now for several years. If you want to kill something green, this is the product. Just follow the directions and be very careful that you only put it on what you are trying to kill. It has helped me in removing vines/ivy that had been growing for over 15 years; from my home as well as choking 4 of my Oak trees. Since it is not available at any local stores, I was fortunate in finding DoMyOwnPestControl.com. A great company with super prices and fast shipping. And no, I'm not an employee. I do feel that good companies and products should get the cudos they deserve. Both apply here.

By Jeff in MSC, Utah on 04/27/2013

We have been using this product for several years and are very satisfied with the results. Here is a helpful hint I learned from a farmer. Use any liquid dish soap. Put a couple of squirts in the sprayer after you have filled it and added the KillzAll, otherwise you will have a sudsy mess. This will help the weed killer stay on the weeds longer and especially helps on weeds with a waxy coating.

    3 of 5 stars  Killzall
By Jfarm in Sunriver Oregon on 07/08/2017

I bought this product from a local plant store and it seems to work good enough. I mixed a few ounces into my sprayer and within a few days I noticed some of the green brush turn brow. My only issue is that now I have to take up and acre of weeds that just killed and they didn't kill them down to the root. I didn't use soap, as it didn't specify this on the bottle, so I may re-spray. So of these reviews claim their yard turned to dirt, but I've got a whole yard full of brown weeds now. Not sure if I can just plant some wild flower seeds after using kill all, but I figure the dead stuff won't help when their a foot tall dead mess. Good product anyway, it seems to have killed most of the yard.

By Tania in Lansing, MI on 06/25/2017

The part that dies are where the plants were touched by the product. I was expecting nothing else will grow there afterwards but that's not the case. Just make sure you spray all very well and in a few days they will start drying.

QCan I use Killzall Weed and Grass Killer around azaleas and flowers?

AKillzall Weed and Grass Killer contains glyphosate which is a non-selective herbicide. Non-selective herbicides will kill just about any type of plant you spray with the product. We recommend Over The Top II for your needs. Over The Top II can be used around azaleas and many other plants to rid your garden of annual and perennial grasses.

QDoes Killzall loose any of its potency after it has been in sub-freezing temperatures for the winter?

AIt is not recommended to leave any type of chemical in areas where they could freeze or over heat because of the potential for the chemical to break down. According to the manufacturer, as long as the Killzall Weed and Grass Killer was only exposed to sub freezing temperatures for a short period of time and the product looks exactly the same as before it was exposed, it should be fine.

QAfter I apply Killzall Weed and Grass Killer, do I need to water?
I applied killzall 3 days ago. Am I supposed to water the grass at anytime or is it best to just not water at all? I have turtles so they are ready to be back outside. I'm trying to kill all the grass and weeds for yard renovations. Also, is it best to do more than one treatment or will one treatment be enough to kill everything to rip up?

A

Killzall Weed and Grass Killer must be diluted with water. You will apply 2.5 oz. per gallon of water (1 gallon treats approx. 300 sq. ft.). You should delay watering the treatment area for at least 24 hours for best results. Please see the label for complete application instructions.

I've tried to compare the labels of the Killzall and Killzall II concentrate products to determine the difference and don't see any difference. Am I missing something?

A

Killzall Weed and Grass Killer - 41% Glyphosate is the only KillzAll product we have carried so we are uncertain that differences if any there are between the 2.
