Two different lawn companies in 2 different years did not recognize it. Said it was heat, sun, over watering, etc. I had to roll the grass back like a carpet to show them. Both summers, the 2 companies have put down grub control treatment in late June/early July, but it did not work. I had someone else put down Dylox last Sept., as the grubs were still very active. It got rid of the grubs. When & how often do I put Dylox down from now on out where I live? I am not having either company treat for grubs again, since it didn't work.
Dylox is only active and kills for 48 hours so should only be applied when grubs are active in the area. They should not be applied more than 3 times per calender year per the product label. We have a great article here that might help with controlling them. Milky Spore would be a great product to look at as it can protect your lawn for 15- 20 years when applied as directed.
