    Q
I'm just curious if I were to use it outside and then it rained would Maggies Farm Spider and Insect Dust be completely washed away or no longer effective?
So this product is a dust and I believe the product info said indoor and outdoors as well.
    A
Maggies Farm Spider and Insect Dust does not have a long lasting residual outdoors, typically only a few days. Maggies Farm Spider and Insect Dust will no longer be effective after rainfall so a repeat application would be recommended.

    Q
What type of spiders doe the Maggies Farm Spider and Insect Dust control?
Will it kill brown recluse and scorpions?
    A

We apologize but this product is new to our inventory so we can't offer much advice outside of what the product label advises. The product label does not specifically state any species of spider it does or does not control, only that it controls spiders in general. The product label does not state that it will control scorpions so we would not recommend it for that use.

    General Pests: (ants, spiders, etc)

Apply dust in attics, basements, trash and utility closets, behind or along baseboards, in drawer wells and hollow furniture legs, under and behind appliances, in wall voids and voids under and behind cabinets, sinks and tubs, in weep holes in brick or siding, around basement drains, around electrical conduit and pipe runs and in other cracks and crevices where pests may hide or enter buildings. Focus application in areas where pests or their signs are seen.

    Q
Will Maggies Farm Spider and Insect Dust need to be vacuumed off the floor once applied after a period of time or do I leave it?
    I'm treating for bedbugs.
    A

When treating for bedbugs you should not be applying any dust to the open areas of the floor as that is not where bedbugs hide. You can see the instructions for treating for bedbugs on the Maggies Farm Product Label which I have also copied below. You may want to look at our Bed Bug Guide to get a better understanding of how to properly treat for bedbugs and get rid of them completely. We offer both regular and all natural products if that is a concern for you when treating in your home.

Per the Label: Bed Bugs: This product can provide some residual protection against bed bugs, but should not be used as the sole treatment. We recommend you contact a professional if you have bed bugs. Remove bedding and take the bed apart. Treat the interior framework, joints and cracks in the bed frame. Treat the tufts, folds, edges, and the interior framework of the box spring. Treat behind wall-mounted head boards. Treat moldings, hollow furniture legs, cracks and crevices, along baseboards, under carpet tack strips and any areas with visible signs of infestation. Treat upholstered furniture by removing or lifting (if possible) the cushions and treating the undersurface. Treat the interior framework, cracks and joints of the furniture, and the folds, tufts and edges of cushions and other upholstered areas. Do not treat toys and stuffed animals with product. Treat wall voids as noted in the general pest section.

    A
Maggies Farm Spider and Insect Dust can last for many years in wall voids depending on how often it is disturbed. We would recommend using the dust every 7 months or so to continue to combat insects.

    Q
How do you use this in dog kennel with straw/hay bedding? Do you dust the straw/hay directly?
Could it harm pets to "root" around in their hay after applied?
    A
Maggies Farm Spider and Insect Dust is not labeled to be used on pet bedding we cannot recommend it. You could think about applying Alpine Flea Insecticide to the pet bedding.
