All I can say is I am impressed with the time frame that the bait worked. It took about 2 - 3 weeks to wipe out the carpenter ants after we put the bait down. But very pleased.

For 8 months i sprayed individual ants with water + sugar + boric acid + a few drops of home defense. knowing they would carry it back to the nest... I collected a few test subjects, and they died in 1 to 2 days. That killed about 400, but not the queen which kept producing. It took about a month of using Maxforce gel to be able to not see any new ants, and not see my little drops disappear, so I think it works, but not in just a few days. Would I buy it again? yes.

It Works ! Finally, after two years of fighting ants, they are GONE. I live in Irvine, CA. Our Woodbridge community is considered to be a giant anthill. Professionals retained by the association could not win. I WON. Use this with the associated product to fight with protein and sugar components and you will win too...

Tube had no way to despense contents when pushing on back material leaked out very messy did not work

We apologize you had an issue dispensing the product. Was the black cap unscrewed from the front of the syringe? (This is often overlooked with this product) Were you using the white plunger to push the product out of the tube? Please let us know so we can help you troubleshoot the application.

I had a professional get rid of ants that were coming through the electrical outlets. He used several things and left me with a tube of Maxforce Ant Bait Gel. I put it up in places that my animals couldn't get to it and it totally got rid of the ants whenever they appeared in the future. Great product.

Used this gel along with the dry ant bait in the bait plate stations. Was hoping (but not really convinced) it would work. Surprise! Saw fewer and fewer carpenter ants in the sunroom until one day I noticed that I had not seen any in several days. This stuff really worked for me.

I received the product very quickly. To my surprise, it worked very well and apparently in 3 days. Before getting the Maxforce, I vacuumed up about 250 in 10 days. These were random and without specific "trails". Once I received the Maxforce, I placed a drop in front of each one I found and let them bring back others. It only took 3 days to see no more carpenter ants. I only used 1/4 of the gel and will be able to use it again should there be a re-occurrence.

I bought this last year and applied it to a couple areas we guessed the ants were coming into the house from. Within a week, the entire colony was gone. We haven't seen ANY ants either - no sugar or carpenter ants, where we used to have "parades" on our dining room floor (3 kids under 3 years old!) Highly recommend!

Bought a house not knowing there was a major carpenter ant infestation. Read reviews on this stuff and was very hopeful first night I went outside and there was a long line of ant's calling from one side of the house to the other so I waited for a gap in the trail and put a line of gel across and as soon as the ants came up to it they started drinking it about 10 minutes went by and more than 50 ant's were crowding around this stuff and drinking it. So I put a few more globs by their entry and exit ways, I couldn't believe how much they liked it!!! Lol like candy for them. Went to bed and as soon as I got up go outside and saw dead ant's by what was left of the gel. I was hopeful ...that night went outside and saw maybe 10 ant's crawling around WAY less than the night before ..put more gel down. They did the same thing..drank it ...I went to bed and 3rd day I HAVEN'T SEEN ANY LIVE ANTS. I HAVE been finding dried up dead ant's along the carpet and around all my window sills. It's now been 2 weeks since I laid the gel down and I haven't seen ANY ant's inside or out!! If you have carpenter ants (mine were red and black) BUY THIS! IT WILL work.

Used this along with the Carpenter Ant Granules. Have not seen any more carpenter ants or another small ant mound at the edge of the sidewalk. Very easy to use and NOT messy. Highly recommend this product.

I've lived in a log cabin for almost forty years. Every once in a while I've had to do battle with large nests of carpenter ants. I've probably tried all the ant bait products and nothing works like Maxforce. A little dab will do it and the nest is gone in days.

I had HUGE carpenter ants everywhere. Some seemed to prefer this product, other ants the granular product. Both excellent when used together. Ants were gone in a few weeks.

There was a steady trail of carpenter ants between a tree and my house. I put this down for several times over two weeks and it never phased them.

Once you find the "main routes" they come and go over, you will find this bait very effective. I found I had to apply it in a number of locations on any given route, as some ants would go around it, while some would, as we say, take the bait. Over the course of a full week, the frequency of traffic on the routes would gradually fall off to zero.

I have tried everything for Carpenter Ants with no success, but this product WORKS and fast. I saw results within 24 hours and no more ants!

The applicator syringe makes baiting the tray very easy. I use with the dry bait and the combination seems quite effective. I don't know how effective the gel would be on its own. With both baits, the carpenter ants have been almost entirely eliminated in just two weeks. Will keep the traps in place and loaded to make sure the colony is destroyed.

We have a Hemlock framed cabin which is approaching its 60th birthday and the combination of the Gel and Advance crystals have done the job we needed. Applied both as directed so the sweet as well as savory attracted and dispatched the pests regardless of their preference.

I went out in the evening when the carpenter ants were most active and just followed their trail where they were going into the eaves of my home and just applied about a half a tube of the Max force gel into the cracks and crevices and along the top of my wooden fence the ants were using to travel by and the next day they were gone.. Haven't seen any since (a month ago).

I had an infestation of carpenter ants in my attic. I used this gel and the Maxforce Complete Granular bait in plastic pudding cups with a strip cut out of the side. I do not know if the ants or cockroaches or both were responsible, but the baits were gone within 24 hours. It took a few weeks of repeated baiting, I never found a solid line of ants coming in, but now I'm down to a few ant sightings in the last 6 months in the house.

Setup baits in different areas where they were seen and within one week they were not seen again. Kill all nests outside with the outside bait that came with the kit. Thanks,

This did not work for me period!!!! I would give it zero stars if I could. If it works for you well I'm happy for you because all it's done is sit there where I applied it untouched by the ants
