    Q
Will gel roach baits attract other roaches if i live in an apartment building?
We just moved to a new apartment and seen two German roaches. We had a professional come and spray and also sprayed an IGR, however, were not sure if the roaches were here or are coming from another apartment building. If we get the Maxforce FC gel, will this attract them if they are coming from another apartment and make the problem worse? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. I have a 6 month old who will start crawling soon, and I am worried he can get sick from the roaches.
    A
No, Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel will not attract more roaches to it from other apartments. If they are there, they will eat the bait gel and die. We would not recommend putting the bait gel in places where the professional sprayed because it will contaminate the baits, and the roaches will not eat it. It is recommended that you put the bait gel in the cabinets and drawers and basically places where you cannot spray. The gel will dry out and get a dry skin on top but roaches will still eat it up to a year.

    Q
Will Maxforce FC Roach Gel hurt my cat or dog?
    A

Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel is only strong enough to kill small roaches.  There is no evidence of secondary poisoning with Maxforce or any roach products for that matter.  Remember that a roach would eat such a small amount of gel, and the gel only contains .01% of active ingredient. There is no way that it would cause your cat to be sick.  Although the thought of eating roaches makes even us feel a little sick!

    Q
How safe is roach gel in my kitchen with food and children?
    A
Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel is very safe to use in a kitchen when it is used as directed on the product label. According to the product label, you should place small dots of bait every 10-12 inches directly in cracks and crevices on and under counter tops, in cabinets, cupboards, drawers and food pantries, around dishwashers, refrigerators, sinks, pipes and baseboards. Do not place bait on food prep surfaces or in places that you will frequently touch or in places that are frequently washed.

    Q
Is Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel taken back to the nest for other roaches to die?
    A
When roaches come out from hiding looking for food, they will pick up the Maxforce FC Roach Bait gel and take it back to where the other roaches are. The bait is then transfered and produces a domino killing effect.

    Q
How many tubes of Maxforce FC do I need to buy for covering moderate German roach infestation?
    in kitchen and 2 room
    A

You need to apply a spot of gel every 12 inches directly into cracks and crevices in each room. Each tube of Maxforce FC roach bait gel contains enough gel to make about 60 spots applications. The amount of gel you will need will depend on the size of each room. After roaches eat the gel it should be replaced so monitor the gel placements and refresh when necessary. For larger infestations you may need 1 tube per room. You may also want to consider using our roach control kit #2 to help control the roach population faster.

    Q
How good does Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel work on German Roaches?
I have a rental property and this is the worst pest we have to try to get rid of.
    A

The Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel is our most popular roach control product for the last 5 years.  It is proven to be a very good measure of control for roaches.  As with any pest problem though you need to have the cooperation of the tenants as far as keeping the kitchen area clean, no dishes in the sink overnight, trash taken out when it should, counters and floor cleaned and swept, etc.  This product is a food bait that will attract the roaches to eat it, but it will only work if there is not other human food for it to compete with.  For best results or bad roach problems you should use our Roach Control Kit.  It comes with a roach gel that also works very well along with two other products that when used together provides excellent results for eliminating roaches.

    Q
Is it safe to put Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel in the pantry on the floor with food?
Our exterminator placed some of this on the floor in our pantry because we had German roaches. Is this safe being closed up in the pantry with the food? Just want to be certain. All types of pesticides make me nervous.
    A
We will not comment on your pest control operators work, but we will tell you that as long as the  Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel is used as directed on the product label, it is safe to use in the food pantry. Since this bait is in gel form it is not released into the air and does not move through the air. The Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel label recommends "Gel  placements should be at or near harborages or aggregation areas, such as corners, or cracks and crevices. Numerous smaller placements will provide faster control than fewer larger spots, especially for German cockroach control" Maxforce FC can also be used in bait plate stations.

    Q
How often should I use the Max Force treatment for roaches?
    A
You should place MaxForce Roach Bait Gel out as often as needed.  You should only apply roach gel if you have a problem.  If you do not have a problem, you should not place roach gel out as it is a food that will attract roaches, you do not want to attract a problem if you don't have one.  If you do have a current roach issue, you should apply as often as you need to.  In bad infestations, you may need to apply weekly if the roaches are eating it that fast.

    Q
What is the difference between Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel vs Combat Roach Killing Gel? They both contain the same amount of the active ingredient, Fipronil 0.01%.
    A

While the amount of active ingredient is the same 0.01% Fipronil, the bait matrix that Bayer uses in their Maxforce Roach Bait line has shown to be more highly attractive to roaches resulting in more feedings which results in more roaches killed.

    Q
Which one works faster, MaxForce FC Roach Bait Gel or Invict Gold Bait Gel? Are they pet safe?
Which one of this two products is more efficient and works faster and longer to get rid of German Roaches? Which one has no smell? ( I am allergic to strong perfumed smell) Which one can be applied safely without taking out all the stuff from the kitchen cabinets and drawers?
    A
MaxForce FC Roach Bait Gel and Invict Roach Bait Gel are both great choices for treating german roaches. However, they are only a portion of a roach control treatment. We do recommend cleaning out the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen prior to treating. They are pet safe when used as directed. We do not recommend using any products to those that are sensitive to products. We suggest that you contact your doctor prior to applying anything in your home. German roaches can be very difficult to treat. Please click the following link for additional information, How to Get Rid of German Roaches
