    Q
What is the difference between Maxforce Impact and Maxforce FC Select?
Is that one is rated for commercial use and the other for residential use?
    A

Both Maxforce Impact Roach Gel Bait and Maxforce FC can be used in residential and commercial areas. They contain different active ingredients and do have different bait matrices (food attractants). Both are great in a pest management program for eradicating roaches. Maxforce Impact is the newest bait in the Maxforce line of products and is especially helpful to avoid bait aversion. Please take a few moments to review our treatment article on How to Get Rid of Roaches for a successful program.

    Q
Would you recommend using Maxforce Impact Roach Gel Bait in a commercial kitchen with very high infestation.
Compared to FC Magnum, which of the two?
    A
We would recommend using the Maxforce Impact Roach Gel Bait as this bait has a new active ingredient and an innovative white matrix that is specifically designed to combat bait aversion. This new active ingredient works quickly, often seeing results in 24 hours. Maxforce Impact Roach Gel Bait is a completely reformulated bait matrix with proprietary "blue bead" feed attractants. The gel bait being white in color so it may be able to be distinguished in rotations and for use on commercial and non-commercial accounts. Maxforce Impact is also free of all of the big 8 allergens. The only gel bait on the market with both reduced risk and free of big 8 food allergens.

    Q
Can Maxforce Impact Roach Gel Bait be used outside?
I've recently moved into a home that had a large roach problem. I've treated the entire inside with CY Kick. The outside with CY Kick, Demon WP, Talstar, then again with CY Kick at 3-4 week intervals. I'm still getting roaches, minimal, but still there. Can I use this product outside, in the desert landscape area around the house to bait the roaches away from the house? I'm mostly seeing German by the bathroom. They appear to be entering from the garage and driveway where it is full concrete/hard scape. Glue boards in the garage catch lizards, which only hurt my roach control.
    A
Maxforce Impact Roach Gel Bait can be used outdoors. However, you do run the risk of it being contaminated easily due to outdoor elements. We would recommend using it indoors in places where the roaches are seen. You should also mix Cy-Kick, Demon WP or Talstar with an IGR (insect growth regulator) to stop the roaches from reproducing. Gentrol is a very good product and will work for up to 4 months. It is not necessary to use more than one product. You do not want to roaches to become immune to the products.
