Fabulous Product!

I found this highly recommended product at the best price on this site. We had a small maple tree that had brown spots on all of its leaves. The spots did not brush off, so I was concerned that something had infected the soil and then tree. After one spray and soil application, new growth appeared - fresh and green with no spots. I've poured one more gallon of treatment solution around the base, to be sure. Seems to be just what we needed!

Not Totally Complete

I struggled with reoccurring fire-blight and fungal diseases on my fruit trees. After using agricultural streptomycin on the dormant trees as I did in previous years to kill the fire-blight I used Monterey Complete Disease Control at budding time and every two weeks thereafter. The fire-blight was greatly reduced to only two small infections. After removal of the two fire-blight infections I continued with the Monterey spray with no reoccurrence of the fire-blight. However, eventually fungal disease resurfaced in the trees so I had to use other fungicides to control it. In the past years I had used other fungicides with moderate but not complete success. I found alternating a fungicide and Monterey sprays did the trick. The fruit trees are disease free.

Seems to be keeping blight and fungal diseases at bay

In the past I used many products to keep my fruit trees (apple, pear, plum, peach, cherry) free of bacterial and fungal diseases with moderate success. This year (as I do each year) I sprayed with Agri-mycin antibiotic and a fungicide to knock down bacterial and fungal diseases before blossom. Beginning at blossom time and repeating about every week since then I used the Monterey Complete Disease Control. My trees look very disease free and much better than in previous years. My hope is that this can continue throughout the fruit growing season. I am at this point pleased with this product.

Not sure if has ever worked

I submitted a review a couple months ago, but it seems that domyown never posted it, or pulled it. I bought the product, and have used almost the entire bottle over the past year or so. (As a soil drench.) Many of my indoor plants (mostly geraniums) have gotten root rot and black leg nonetheless. Perhaps I over water a bit too much. But this product is supposed to PROTECT the plants. At least that's what Monterey tells me. They also tell me It won't cure a sick plant. I can confirm that. Despite my doubts about the efficacy of the product I may buy more. I don't want my plants getting any sicker.

I've seen no evidence it works.

I bought this product to protect the plants I have inside my home, and have used it for close to two years. I've seen no evidence it is effective against root rot or black leg. I've had a half dozen plants get ill and die from these two diseases, and I am very careful to use new potting soil and disinfect my pots and tools. I also SUSPECT, but do not know for certain that it inhibits root formation as none of my cuttings that I watered with the product seem to grow roots.
