Ortho Weed B Gon Weed Killer For Lawns Ready-To-Spray is specially formulated to help control tough weeds on Northern and Southern lawns. It is formulated with special ingredients to effectively kill over 250 weeds such as Clover, Dandelion, Plantains, Ground Ivy (Creeping Charlie), Wild Violet, Thistles, Yellow Oxalis, Pennywort (Dollarweed), Wild Garlic on cool and warm season turfgrasses like Ryegrass, Kentucky bluegrass,Tall and Fine fescues, Bermudagrass, Centipedegrass, Zoysiagrass, Buffalograss and Bahiagrass. It guarantees to provide result a few hours after application, plus a waterproof feature for an hour so you can be sure it will not wash off easily. This ready-to-spray formula kills to the roots without damaging the lawns.

Ortho Weed B Gon Weed Killer for Lawns Ready-To-Spray 2 is guaranteed to kill weeds to the roots. When used as directed, you can kill over 250+ weeds without damaging the lawn. Ortho Weed B Gon is specially designed for Northern and Southern lawns. You'll see results in hours!

How to Use

  1. Connect sprayer to hose
  2. Turn on water
  3. Push tab on applicator to ON position
  4. Spray evenly over lawn

When to Apply

  • Spray anytime weeds are actively growing
  • For best results spray when daytime temperatures are above 45° F and below 90°F
  • Rain or watering two hours after application will not wash away effectiveness

How Often to Apply

  • The maximum number of broadcast applications is limited to 2 per year. Allow at least 30 days between applications. Maximum kill (or control) of weeds will be obtained from Spring or early Fall applications when weeds are actively growing.

Where Not to Use

  • Do Not apply to Bentgrass (colonial and creeping); Carpetgrass; Dichondra; Lippia; Gardens including vegetables, fruit trees, vines and berries; Ornamental plants (flowers, trees, groundcovers, landscape beds and shrubs); Seashore Paspalum; Floratam variety of St. Augustinegrass;Turfgrass species that are not listed on this label.

    Ive used weed be gone for 25 years now and I have to say its the best brand on the market. Kills clover etc without killing your lawn

    Do you have to remove the black rubber washer before suing so the water can mex with the product?

    Thank you for your inquiry. We reached out to the manufacturer to better answer you question. The manufacturer stated that all you need to do it push the white button at the top to the 'on' position. That will mix the water with the herbicide. There is no need to remove the black rubber washer, that will cause the water and solution to spew out. If you need to just spray water out, you can push the white button on 'water'. Be sure to wait at least 4-6 hours after application of Ortho Weed B Gon Weed Killer For Lawns Ready-To-Spray 2  or until the treated area has dried to irrigate the area.

Does Ortho Weed B Gon Weed Killer For Lawns Ready-To-Spray 2 need to be watered in after application? How long between application and rainfall?

Ortho Weed B Gon Weed Killer For Lawns Ready-To-Spray 2 does not need to be watered in after the appliation. While this product is rainfast in 1 hour per the manufacturer, the product label advises DO NOT apply when raining or when rain is expected the same day of application to prevent runoff.

How do you know when you've depleted all of the Ortho Weed B Gon Weed Killer For Lawns Ready-To-Spray 2and it is just spraying water?

We would recommend turning the water flow of your hose off and shake the container to listen or feel for some of the concentrate inside the bottle. The Ortho Weed B Gon Weed Killer For Lawns Ready to Spray concentrate is also an amber-ish colored liquid, so you should be able to see a slight color change when it runs out. You can also use the coverage area the manufacturer states that product should cover to help you determine when you should be close to running low.

How long do i need to wait to mow after I applying Ortho Weed B Gon Weed Killer For Lawns Ready-To-Spray 2?

And is anyone else having a problem with the chemical not coming out of the bottle with the one that attaches to garden hose? Ive had two that just will not work

It is recommended to not mow within 2 days before or within 2 days after applying Ortho Weed B Gon Weed Killer For Lawns Ready-To-Spray 2.  Regarding the issues you are having with the rpoduct, we would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer directly for troubleshooting any issues with their sprayer, we do not have a lot of feedback on any such problem.
