    Q
If squirrels are in a soffit when I spray PestXpert Foaming Insect Killer, will they come out or will they die inside the space?
I do not want them to die within the building and create odors.
    A

PestXpert Foaming Insect Killer should have no effect on squirrels as it only controls insects.  They could become irritated if they are in the area during treatment, but it may not drive them away from an area.  PestXpert also is not a caulking type foam that seals an area, it only foams to provide greater treatment area.

    Q
Does PestXpert Foaming Insect Killer or any of your products kill bed bugs?
    A

PestXpert Foaming Insect Killer is not labeled for bed bugs but we do carry many different products that will.  We would recommend one of our Bed Bug Control kits here.  Which kit you choose depends on the number of rooms you need to treat. Each contains the most effective combination of products to eliminate bed bugs.

  • Asked by Russell from Souderton, Pa

    Q
Is PestXpert Foaming Insect Killer safe to use on wood floors?
Is this product available to mix yourself for a light spray application?
    A

PestXpert Foaming Insect Killer should not be used as a broadcast on wood floors or carpet, only as a spot or crack and crevice spray. It should not cause any damage to flooring, however, if you have older or sensitive stains, then you may want to test an inconspicuous area before making applications in more visible areas.

PestXpert in particular is not available in a concentrate, however we have many other products with the same active ingredient available in a concentrate. You can browse products containing lambda-cyhalothrin on our website here.

  • Asked by Bambi from Hemingway, Sc

    Q
Does PestXpert Foaming kill and prevent German roaches?
Does it kill German roaches if they crawl across it after it dries?
    A

PestXpert Foaming Insect Killer is labeled to kill Cockroaches, therefore it can kill German roaches as well and it will leave a residual in the areas that are treated. It can be applied to cracks, crevices, along and behind baseboards, beneath and behind sinks, stove, refrigerators and cabinets. However, because German roaches can multiply in large numbers, we wouldn't recommend relying on only one product. We would instead recommend to start out with the Roach Control Kit A because it contains a bait gel as well as Gentrol Point Source Stations which helps to stop juvenile roaches from being able to become reproductive adults. See our How to Get Rid of Roaches article for more information and tips and our Prevention Guide article for tips regarding preventative measures you can take.

    Q
How soon does PestXpert Foaming Insect Killer kill carpenter bees?
    A

PestXpert Foaming Insect Killer is not labeled for carpenter bees and would  not be recommended for them.  If you are treating holes it would be best to use a dust like Tempo 1% Dust in the holes applied with a hand duster.  We also have a great guide here for treating carpenter bees.

    Q
Is PestXpert Foaming Insect Killer good for ants?
Ants are attracted to dog food, along with sugary types of foods.
    A

PestXpert Foaming Insect Killer is labeled for ants. Its water-based formula is released through micro-capsules to kill on contact and keeps killing for up to 4 months. You would want to make sure your pet's food dish is emptied, washed and dried after each meal. All food, spices, etc. should be stored in air tight containers as well. If you are finding trails of ants indoors, then we would recommend our Indoor Ant Kit which includes two types of food baits with active ingredients that get transferred throughout the ant population to eliminate the whole colony. Please refer to our Ant Treatment Guide for more tips.
