    How much Peters Professional 20-20-20 would I use per gallon of water?
    I have a 4 gallon back pack sprayer. Would I need to mix it in a different container before putting it in the backpack sprayer to keep from clogging up my sprayer? How often should I have to spray this product on my lawn? I have St. Augustine Floratam grass. And is this the best product to use in a backpack sprayer? Thanks.

    The mixing ratio for Peters Professional 20-20-20 General Purpose Fertilizer is 1 tsp per gallon of water. It is recommended that you fill your tank up half way, put the product in, fill the tank up the rest of the way and agitate. This should not clog your sprayer because the product will dissolve in water. It is not recommended to leave a mixed solution inside of your sprayer. Application rates depend solely on the desired ppm of desired Nitrogen. Please read over the Product Information Sheet for further assistance.

    How often would I apply Peters Professional 20-20-20 General Purpose Fertilizer on potted plants outside?

    Peters Professional 20-20-20 General Purpose Fertilizer can be reapplied every 7-10 days or as needed.     Can Peters Professional 20-20-20 General Purpose Fertilizer be applied using a hose attached lawn sprayer?
    If yes, what is the amount of fertilizer do I use? I have orchid plants hanging outside that I want to spray. Some are up high and hard to reach. I don't need a lot...maybe up to 5 gallons. Thanks for your help!

    I am in south Florida. How much fertilizer I need to mix to make a 10 gallon diluted solution?
    The tech will re-mix it when servicing the plants at the accounts, these are indoor plants.

    Can Peters Professional 20-20-20 General Purpose Fertilizer product be used for fall deep root fertilization in cold climates?

    Per the manufacturer, Peters Professional 20-20-20 General Purpose Fertilizer it would be a good product to use for this purpose in colder climates as long as you keep the Parts Per Million (PPM) in the 150 range. Please be sure to use the Product Sheet for this so that you can get the correct usage rates.

    Do you pre-wet leaves of plants if applying Peters Professional 20-20-20 General Purpose Fertilizer to flower beds?
    How long can it sit on leaves without burning? Is this recommended on plants that may become "leggy" from to much nitrogen?

    When using Peters Professional 20-20-20 General Purpose Fertilizer for plants like flower beds, you can use 1 tsp per 1 gallon of water and apply using a watering can or sprayer. As long as you are not mixing the product too strongly, then it should not burn the plants you are treating. You do not need to wet the plants first before you fertilize. We are not sure what plants you may be concerned about growing too much, so you may need to research the specific plants you have for the best fertilizing recommendations for them and for your desired results.
