Works great in Arizona Desert!

This product far surpasses anything we've used in our area. It is the only thing that has managed to keep the prominent weeds in our area from coming back. This is all we'll use!!

Best Pre-Emergent on the Markete
By in Buckeye on 07/09/2013
We've tried other pre-emergent products but this is the ONLY one that treats all the weeds in our area. We're in Arizona (West Valley) and after trying other products we are back to Pin Dee and SWEAR BY IT!! Fantastic product, excellent results, and consistent results.

I have used this product before and it worked great! I finally found it again here on this site and bought it because of how well it worked before and again amazing! My only complaint about this product is the lid leaks, it did it before and this time also so I suggest if you don't use it up real quick and the bottle is full make sure to put it in another container so it doesn't spill in your truck. No matter how tight you twist it I cannot get it to not leak. I gave it 5 stars because of how the actual product works!

QWhat rate on a hose end sprayer (per gallon of water) is needed for 3.6 oz per 1000 sq ft?
I ordered a liquid pre emergent herbicide from you last week. I am applying with a hose end sprayer that is calculated at an application rate per gallon of water. The pre emergent says the application needs to be at 3.6 ounces per 1000 square feet. What does the setting on the hose end sprayer need to be?
Pre-emergent herbicides are not recommended to be used in a hose end sprayer for the exact reason you described with the dilutation instructions on the label.

QIs Pin Dee 3.3 T&O Herbicide water soluble?
Looking for pre-emergent crabgrass control. I looked at Pendulum, but noted one customer said he only uses the water soluble pendimethalin because it won't leave stains. So, I'm looking for a water soluble pendimethalin product.
AIndeed Pin Dee is water soluble. For cool season grasses, you want to mix 1.3 to 1.8 Fl. oz Pin Dee with the amount of water needed to cover 1000 sq. feet. Please let us know if you have more questions.

QIs Mixing Pin Dee possible with Roundup to kill existing weeds that have already came up??
AThe product label for Pin Dee 3.3 EC Herbicide does give instructions for tanking mixing with glyphosate products. Do not apply tank mixtures containing glyphosate over the top of ornamental plants. Before tank mixing, a simple jar test is recommended to insure compatibility of herbicides. Always read the companion product label. Follow all use precautions and restrictions that apply to each product used. Always follow the most restrictive label.

QHow much Pin Dee 3.3 Herbicide do you mix with 25 gallons of water?
I'm going to be spraying my yard with a 25 gallon tank and I'm wondering how much to mix in with the water?
A For Pin Dee 3.3 Herbicide you will need to use 1.3 to 1.8 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft depending on your turfgrass. To decide how much water you want to use, you should mark a 1,000 sq ft area, fill your sprayer with water ONLY, and start walking and spraying just as if you were doing the actual application of herbicide. When you are done walking and spraying the 1,000 sq ft area note how much water it took you to spray that area, and that is the amount you will want to mix 1.3 to 1.8 oz of product with for each 1,000 sq ft area that needs to be treated. You will need to make sure treated areas are irrigated with at least 1/2 inch of water (either by rainfall or by sprinkler) following the application.†
