Using a rotary spreader, cover the entire areas where armadillos are present with a 2-phase application over a two week period - The initial application will drive them out of affected areas and the second application will ensure they do not return for up to 45 days DAY 1: Apply to the entire affected area of lawn starting at the area furthest from where you want the armadillos to exit, then water for 5 minutes - Where the area permits, apply in a band at least 30 feet beyond and around the infested area where tunnels and holes are present DAY 14: Apply over the entire affected lawn, watering in the same way |

If applied correctly armadillo scram is safe and effective at deterring the animals from the property. It works better as a preventative measure after trapping out the established armadillos. Hire a trapper or trap the animal yourself then use the repellent to discourage others from returning.

About time

It's about time one of the pest control companies took armadillos seriously. Up to now nothing much, short of a bullet, bothers them, but this, at least, keeps them away. It's not cheap, but it works. I apply soil insecticide several times per year, but they keep coming.

This stuff does work. Yes, it is expensive but it works. It needs to be applied per the included instructions. Reapply 14 days later and then every 30 days there after. I trapped them as well and then relocate to a new Zip Code, Lol. I tried Castor oil, professional insect killer, and even Cayenne pepper. The pepper worked, as you can imagine but only for two to three weeks and then it has to reapply. The Armadillo Scram did the job. They won`t come near the property.

Trapping and removal is generally the most effective way to get rid of armadillos from an area since these scavengers can aggressively search for food. We do offer traps as well as a few repellents that may help to relieve some of the pressure from these animals. I would suggest Bonide MoleMax for small areas and Armadillo Scram by Epic Repellents for larger areas and/or longer control. These are both natural repellents.
How do I get them out ?
Armadillo Scram Professional is geared to be applied to lawns to prevent from armadillos digging them up. The best way in getting rid of armadillos is to physically trap & remove from property with a live trap. A bait may also be added to lure the armadillo. Other bait examples are fish, fruits, sardines, spoiled eggs & rotten meat. You may also try reaching out to your local wildlife department for removal assistance & htips.
