Product Overview

Organic Orange Rust and Hard Water Stain Remover is a non-toxic, biodegradable acid that will safely remove rust, calcium, hard water spots, lime, mildew stains, salts, mineral build-up, organic deposits, and more. Organic Orange contains no VOCs or phosphates which makes it enviromentally safe. It can be used safely on just about anything both indoors and outdoors. To use, simply pour Organic Orange onto the affected area and use a sponge or cloth to agitate the area, then wipe the area clean and rinse with clean water. For tools that need soaking, pour Organic Orange into a bowl or bucket, and let them soak until clean, which may take up to 24 hours. Once clean, remove from the bucket and rinse with clean water.

Application Pour Organic Orange onto the affected area and use a sponge or cloth to agitate the area, then wipe clean and rinse with clean water.

For Automatic Dishwashing Machines – Rust & Hard Water Stain Remover Concentrate is a surface friendly organic formula that is effective in removing dense scale like calcium and magnesium, water slime, scum and light corrosion.

Automatic Dishwashing Machine Directions:

  • 1. Remove all dishes.
  • 2. Set to heavy duty or pots & pans cycle.
  • 3. Turn off Heat during the drying cycle.
  • 4. Set water temperature to hot.
  • 5. In the bottom of the dishwashing tub add 1 Tbsp. of non-diluted Rust & Hard Water Stain Remover Concentrate. This will be used during the pre-wash cycle.
  • 6. In the soap dispenser compartment, add 1 Tbsp. of non-diluted Rust & Hard Water Stain Remover Concentrate and close lid. This will be used during the washing cycle.
  • 7. Start dishwasher.
  • 8. Allow the dishwasher to complete the entire cycle.

Repeat the above steps as often as needed to maintain your dishwasher free from hard water and soap scum build up. This will allow the water to flow freely through the spray jets. 

For HE Automatic Washing Machines – Rust & Hard Water Stain Remover Concentrate is a surface friendly organic formula that is effective in removing dense scale like calcium and magnesium, water slime, scum and light corrosion.

HE Automatic Washing Machine Directions:

  • 1. Remove all clothes.
  • 2. Set to “Whites” cycle.
  • 3. Set water temperature to hot.
  • 4. Do not add any detergent, bleach or fabric softeners to washer.
  • 5. In a separate measuring cup, dilute ¼ cup or 4 Tbsp. of Rust & Hard Water Stain Remover Concentrate with 1 cup of water and pour into the washing machine tub.
  • 6. Close door/lid and turn washing machine on.
  • 7. Allow the washing machine to complete the entire cycle.

Repeat the above steps as often as needed to maintain your washing machine free from hard water and soap scum build up.

For NON-HE Automatic Washing Machines – Rust & Hard Water Stain Remover Concentrate is a surface friendly organic formula that is effective in removing dense scale like calcium and magnesium, water slime, scum and light corrosion.

NON-HE Automatic Washing Machine Directions:

  • 1. Remove all clothes.
  • 2. Set to Heavy Duty cycle.
  • 3. Set load size to medium.
  • 4. Set water temperature to hot.
  • 5. Do not add any detergent, bleach or fabric softeners to washer.
  • 6. Allow the water to fill the tub.
  • 7. Turn off machine. Lift lid and pour 1 cup or 16 Tbsp. of Rust & Hard Water Stain Remover Concentrate into water.
  • 8. Close door/lid and turn washing machine on.
  • 9. Allow the washing machine to complete the entire cycle.

Repeat the above steps as often as needed to maintain your washing machine free from hard water and soap scum build up.

For Evaporative Coolers – Rust & Hard Water Stain Remover Concentrate is an industrial strength descaler formulated for use in evaporative coolers. This is a surface friendly organic formula that is effective in removing dense scale like calcium and magnesium, water slime, scum, and light corrosion.

Evaporative Cooler Directions –

Drain, clean and refill cooler. Add 5 to 6 ounces of Rust & Hard Water Stain Remover Concentrate for each 4500 CFM rating. Run cooler in the PUMP ONLY mode for 20 minutes. Drain, clean and refill cooler with fresh water. Repeat treatment if necessary. Resume normal cooler operation. Repeat treatment steps when scale buildup returns
