    Q
Which works better for roach control, diatomaceous earth or boric acid ?
Roaches are living under my counter and on top of my dishwasher.
    A

It is important to understand that a product like boric acid or diatomaceous earth are only going to work on those roaches that actually come into contact with them. The majority of roaches live in cracks, crevices, and wall voids, and will only come out when absolutely necessary. Boric acid and DE have nothing in them to actually attract the roaches, so they must be strategically placed into the places where roaches live, and it will take several days for the roaches to actually die after they ingest these types of products.  During this time they can continue to breed. We would recommend using a roach bait gel, an insect growth regulator, and an insecticide spray for faster results.  You may want to take a look at our Roach Control Kits, which contain all of these products.

    Q
Is the Roach Control Kit Rotation A safe for children?
I have a 5 month old- is this safe for children? I've heard raid can cause major defects in children so want to be very careful and sure with this! I know the obvious of don't use the product right where baby will be playing but what about fumes or anything like that?
    A

We would recommend keeping children and/or pets out of the area while treating with the products inside of the Roach Control Kit Rotation A. Once the Temprid SC has dried completely, it is safe for children to return to the area. There is no problem with the fumes because this product does not have a scent and is colorless as well. The Maxforce Magnum is used inside of cabinets and drawers so be mindful if your children go into these areas. The Gentrol Point Sources are a birth control for the roaches and certain other insects. It will only affect them. The Catchmaster 100i Insect Monitors do not have any lure or attractant inside of it. It is solely used for monitoring purposes.

Is the Roach Control Kit the best roach killer you have?
Have tried everything gone for week or 2 then come back have even had company spray
    A
I recommend purchasing one of our roach control kits, the kit comes with several products which when used in conjunction is the best option when treating for roaches. You receive a liquid insecticide, a bait, as well as a growth regulator to control the lifecycle of the roaches. The Rotations kits also include glue boards to help monitor infestations.

I have a triple wide Trailer Home that has gotten completely out of control with roaches.

    Q
Do you have any more economical roach control kits?
I live in a double wide trailer and we are being pverrun by cockroaches we have 3 pugs and about 50$ on a prepay grn dot card we want the Advion product. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    A

We have our Roach Control Kits priced at $65.00 with free shipping. For a more econonical solution you may purchase items individually such as the dose of Temprid SC that can treat 1,000 sqaure feet that provides a quicker knockdown and a longer lasting residual. Advion roach bait gel in addition to an insecticide is recommend for your treatment as this will help eliminate the whole colony by transferring from one insect to the next. You could also purchase a one ounce bottle of Gentrol IGR Concentrate to mix and apply with the Temprid SC. Together, this will provide a reduction of the population at a more economical price.

    Q
My drain pipes in the foundation are infested with roaches. Is a treatment I can use for that?
    A
It is rare that you would ever have roaches truly coming from your drain pipes. Most of the time when people see roaches coming out of their drain, it is only ones that have crawled down into it from your sink first and are then re-emerging. Unless you have a cracked pipe either in your home or somewhere in the sewage line for the city that leads into your home, the source is elsewhere. The best way to treat for roaches is to attack it full on before it becomes a huge infestation as they can reproduce quickly. We suggest using our Roach Rotation Kit A as this has everything you will need to completely eliminate all of the roache that are there as quickly as possible. The products in the kit provide you with two different poisons that they will take back to the colony you dont see to eliminate them at the source, as well as a birth control that will halt the growth of the colony until they die from the other products.

    Q
So if kit A is for Oriental roaches, will it work on German roaches as well? Kit A is the strongest, correct?
    A

Yes, Roach Control Kit Rotation A  will work on German roaches as well. The main difference between the kits is the type of bait that is used. Roaches can become resistent to bait so it is recommended that you switch them up when you are treating an active infestation.

  • Asked by Christine from Mulberry Grove, Il

    Q
How do I assemble the Catchmaster 100i Insect Monitors in the Roach Control Kit Rotation A?
    A

The Catchmaster 100i Insect Monitors in the Roach Control Kit Rotation A require very little assembly. Each board consists of three monitors that can be torn off using the perforated lines, or you can use the entire board as a large trap.

    • Separate each card along the perforated lines to create three smaller boards from each larger card. This will create a total of 12 monitors from the 4 larger cards.
    • Fold each trap gently to create a right triangle shape. Remove the adhesive covering on the angled top tab, then firmly press the logoed panel to the adhesive, creating a secure triangle trap with three openings.
    • Carefully remove the interior paper to expose the glue surface inside the trap.
    • Place glue traps in areas where you have found roaches to hide, travel, or breed, such as in and under cabinets, behind toilets, under appliances, and in corners. If desired, remove the cover sheet on the bottom of each trap to expose the adhesive. Press firmly to a clean, dry surface to secure traps in place.
    • Monitor traps weekly to check your progress.
    • Replace traps if full of roaches, dust, or other debris.

    Q
What is the best way to treat for German Roaches in a new home?
    A

The best way to fully treat for Gerrman Roaches is with our Roach Control Kit. Repeat applications need to be done every 10-14 days in addition to sanitation methods. Replacing the bait every 2 weeks and using smaller more frequent bait placements will be more successful than larger bait placements.

  • Asked by Yolanda from Miami, Fl

    Q
What product can I buy to get rid of roaches?
I live in an apartment building of 6 units and I have small roaches. I wanted to know what product can I buy to end this problem? I willing to buy enough for all 6 units.
    A

We recommend using the products in our Roach Control Kit Rotation A to treat for roaches in your apartment. This kit is designed to treat one residence, but you could always start with one kit and then purchase subsequent kits as needed. We do also carry a Commercial Roach Control Kit that is designed to treat larger buildings with multiple unit or rooms, such as apartments or hotels. These kits all contain an insecticide concentrate to kill adults, an Insect Growth Regulator to keep immature roaches from developing into adults, and a roach bait gel to be carried to roaches that are otherwise hiding in inaccessible areas. It is important to practice good sanitation and to exercise patience when treating an established roach population. It may take several weeks to several months to eradicate a problem that is on-going. Please see our Roach Treatment Article for more information and tips about roach control.

What is the difference between the Roach Control Kit rotation A and NY Roach Control Kit A?
    A

The insecticides inside of the Roach Control Rotation A Kit and the New York Roach Control Kit are different. Temprid SC cannot be shipped to NY unless you have a pest control license. Fenvastar EcoCap comes in the New York Roach Control Kit. The rest of the items inside of the kit are the same.

    Q
Recently moved into an older house. Lots of large roaches outside a night and some indoors.
I have been using an pest control company and not please with results. Most of the roaches indoor (mostly basement, but some upstairs) are dead or dying. However, tons of roaches outside in pine straw, on walls, porch, etc. I have small children and a dog. I want to completely remove the roaches from my house (inside and out). Looking at a control kit and also some type of outdoor granule option.
    A
One of the Roach Rotaion kits would be best.  You can bait indoors and apply the Temprid outdoors in those problem areas. It is safe for children and pets after it has dried. Please also view the informational videos on that page.

  • Asked by Shaila from La Harpe, Il
    08/09/2017
    Q
Should I stick with Roach Control Kit Rotation A or go with Roach Control Kit Rotation B?
It's been over a year since I used the Rotation A. It got rid of the bugs beautifully! We recently had a guest who brought bugs in with his luggage. Since it's not the same "group" of cock roaches, is Rotation A still OK to use? I still have some Rotation A bait around the cabinet area. Should I switch to Rotation B?
    A

Yes, Roach Control Kit Rotation A would be okay to use since they are likely not the same roaches. The main difference in the kits is the bait gel. Roaches can become resistant to it over time so it's recommended that you switch it up. Bait gel is good for one year after its been opened, so you may need new bait if it has been over that time frame.
