Eddie from Eastern New Mexico writes

Sahara will do a total kill, correct?

I have a spreader sprayer and I need to do a total kill around fence line and between some buildings? Will this be a good choice or TVC? I can mix with Finale to get a better kill? Say I use 20 gallons of water how much would I need for each 20 gallons I use?

Answer:

Sahara DG Herbicide is a total kill as it is a vegetation management product and should only be used by an experienced user. Sahara sterilizes the soil and will kill all living plant life in the vicinity of where it is applied and prevent any growth for a period of time and can leach in the soil and harm desirables.  For spot treatments you will need to mix 0.5 lb- 1.0 lb with one gallon of water + 1/3 of an ounce of surfactant.  How much you use otherwise depends on the amount of rainfall your area receives.  Please refer to the product label for complete instructions based on this information.
