    Q
This past summer watermeal has invaded my pond. It is in the woods. Need advice of what to do this spring.
I have a 1/2 acre spring feed pond, 50+yrs old, with bass, blue gill, other fish also. Thanks.
    A

Penn State actually has a great article on this weed that you can find here with advice on preventing it.  SePRO Sonar RTU Aquatic Weed Herbicide would be good to use on watermeal itself.

    Q
During heavy rains my 1/4 acre pond will overflow. If I used SePRO Sonar RTU, will I have to keep treating?
    A

SePRO Sonar RTU Aquatic Weed Herbicide only kills those weeds that are contacted directly and is typically applied over several days as listed on the label for control.  Apply when weeds are actively growing.  Best results typically achieved by starting applications just as weeds have started to grow.
