Should the Pennington Heartwood Barrel Tub 20 in. be brought indoors or left outdoors for the winter?

I live in New England (Massachusetts) and our winters are unusually harsh with wild temperature swings and it is particularly tough on exterior products. Do you recommend leaving them outdoors to tough it out, or bring them indoors for safekeeping? Thank you.
