    What active ingredient in SolaMist Pro Concentrate eliminates insects & how does it do that?
    We have a small lake with a beach & patio area. Also we have honey bees that are attracted to that area. Will it harm them?

    SolaMist Pro Concentrate active ingredients are:

    Cedar Oil - 42.5%, Sodium Laurel Sulfate - 19%, Peppermint Oil - 7.8%, Lemongrass Oil - 7.8%

    It will control Mosquitoes, spiders, gnats, wasps, ants, flies, and roaches among many other pest. SolaMist Pro Concentrate is safe to use in the lake environment, but may be toxic to honey bees that contact the solution.

    SolaMist Pro Concentrate now has cedar oil as the primary active ingredient. It also contains Sodium Laurel Sulfate - 19%, Peppermint Oil - 7.8%, and Lemongrass Oil - 7.8%.

    Will SolaMist Pro Concentrate work in any misting system?

    Per the manufacturer, SolaMist Pro Concentrate can be used in the  SolaMist Mosquito and Insect Misting System, as well as any other mosquito misting system.

    Will SolaMist Pro Concentrate kill honeybees?
    A

    While SolaMist Pro Concentrate is considered non toxic and poses no adverse risks to humans, pets, plants or the environment, it is labeled to kill mosquitoes, spiders, wasps, hornets, gnats, midges and other small flying insects on contact therefore we cannot advise on the toxicity this product would have on honeybees. We would recommend contacting the manufacturer Remington Solar directly at 214-257-8300 for more information.
