    Looking for a product to kill nutsedge in St. Augustine grass without damaging grass.
    Is this the best product you carry to kill nutsedge in St. Augustine grass? I am located in Miami, Fl.

    Southern Ag Basagran Sedge Control is labeled to treat for nutsedge in St. Augustine grass and would not harm the grass.  Though our most popular product for nutsedge in the Sedgehammer Herbicide.  It can be used in St. Augustine as well.

    Do I need to use surfactant with Southern AG Basagran?

    You do not have to use a surfactant with Southern Ag Basagran. Please follow the label instructions for application.

    can i spray sedge basagran on an established yard and not kill the grass i have.

    That all depends on what type of grass you have. Please review the product label to make sure your turf will tolerate Southern Ag Basagran Sedge Control

    Can Basagran be used to eliminate nutsedge in border grass?

    Basagran can be applied to kill Nutsedge in most established turf grasses. Be sure to review the product label to make sure your specific grass is tolerant.

    How often Southern Ag Basagran Sedge Control can/should be applied?
    Following the directions, I made two applications in January separated by about two weeks. Sedge was killed, but it is now May and starting to come back in small amounts.
    A

    You should not apply Southern Ag Basagran Sedge Control  more than 1.5 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft per calendar year per the product label instructions.

    How much Southern Ag Basagran Sedge Control to mix with 1 gallon garden sprayer?

    The rate for Southern Ag Basagran Sedge Control is 5 tsp. (0.75 oz.) 1 - 2 gallons of water per 1.000 sq. ft.  Please refer to the product label for complete instructions.

    Can Southern Ag Basagran Sedge Control be used in Centipede?

    Southern Ag Basagran Sedge Control is labeled to be applied to Centipede lawns. Be sure to follow the product label to avoid burning the turf.

    I have prickly sida coming up in my pasture where my cattle graze. Can I use Southern Ag Basagran Sedge Control?

    Southern Ag Basagran Sedge Control is not labeled for use in grazing areas.  GrazonNext HL Herbicide is labeled for suppression of prickly sida and can be safely used in grazing pastures.

    Can Southern Ag Basagran Sedge Control be sprayed in the vegetable garden as a post emergence for southern peas?
    A

    Southern Ag Basagran Sedge Control can only be applied as directed to established turf and certain ornamentals. It should not be applied to edible vegetation.
