Not a fan of having to use fungicide but root rot is no fun either. If u can't get rid of it organically then subdue is the one.

QWhat is the shelf life of the remaining Subdue MAXX Fungicide?
I only will be using about 5 Oz to treat my lawn. How long is the remaining Subdue in the bottle good for? Years?

Subdue MAXX Fungicide would have a 3-5 year shelf life if stored at room temperature with no extreme heat or cold, and no moisture got into the bottle.

QAre there any products that will treat established pythium blight on my lawn?
Would aeration be effective at this point or would it just spread the fungus? Definitely pythium as I've seen the cottony, weblike growth in the early morning.

Here are a few tips for getting rid of Pythium Blight:

  • Avoid mowing wet, infected turf where mycelium is present to avoid spreading spores with the mower blades
  • Reduce thatch and improve drainage with core aeration.
  • Increase air circulation and reduce the amount of shade which will limit the amount of time of foliar
  • Non frequent deep watering is better verses frequent shallow watering
  • Do not water at night.
  • Apply Subdue Maxx for chemical treatment

QWhen is the best time to treat with Subdue MAXX Fungicide, and how often do I need to re-apply it?
Soil treatment for phytophhora in forsythia hedge

Subdue MAXX Fungicide is not labled for a soil treatment when treating for phytophthora. Per the product label it should be applied†as†a foliar treatment only. Also this would not be a product that we would recommend for that either as you would have to use such a miniscule amount when treating hedges as the label states to use it in 100 gallons of water. To be able to break that down would not be worth using.†

You could use Monterey Agri-Fos Fungicide. It is labeled for a soil drench at a rate of 2 to 4 tsp per gallon of water, and you would apply 1 gallon per sq yard. Follow the application with irrigation to get the product down to the roots of the plant. You can do repeat applications at 14-21 day intervals.†

QJust received Subdue Maxx from you. What is max dose for greenhouse Phalaenopsis?
Noticed a mixture range of 1/2 to 2oz per 100 gallons for Subdue MAXX. I grow Phalaenopsis and Paphiopedilums in my greenhouse and wanted to know what the maximum dose is? Thank You.
