    Is Talstar P safe around infants and safe to spray in infants bedrooms?
    A
    Talstar P can be safely used in an infant's room as long as the infant is out of the room during the application and he/she does not return until the spray is dry. Talstar P is to be used as only as a crack and crevice spray indoors. Please be sure to read the product label and follow all directions and precautions.

    Yes, Talstar P can be applied using a Stihl SR200 backpack sprayer. For most applications, you will mix 0.5-1 oz per gallon per 1,000 sq ft. It has a 30 day outdoor residual.

    Does Talstar P kill Scorpions.
    If Talstar P does kill scorpions do you know how long it takes them to die once they make contact. I bought this product and believe it's as good as you guys say it is.

    Yes, Talstar P will treat scorpions. You want to mix at a rate of 1oz talstar to one gallon of water. Talstar will kill scorpions in a matter of minutes, depending on the size.

    Can Talstar P and NyGaurd IGR be mixed together as one solution to be sprayed.

    Yes, Talstar P and NyGaurd IGR can be mixed together and applied at the same time. You want to apply at a rate of 1 oz Talstar to 3 ml of NyGuard into one gallon water.

    How long does Talstar P last once it's mixed?
    If I had 5-10 gallons left over in my mixture tank, how long would it be before it goes bad? Thanks!

    Once Talstar P is mixed with water it should be used within 24 hours.  Be sure to agitate the solution before using if it sits for a few hours.

    How do you compare Bifen/Talstar P versus Tempo SC?
    I am using to kill mosquitoes in the yard by backpack sprayer/mister and also applying along perimeter of home and area where ant hide. Are both equally effective or would one be superior in any way?

    Bifen IT and/or Talstar P and Tempo SC Ultra are very good products for mosquito control. The biggest difference between them is that they have two different active ingredients. They are both great insecticides and can be alternated so that there is no pest resistance built up.

    How long does Talstar need to dry before it rains?

    Talstar P (Talstar One) dries within approx. 2 hours. After that rain will not wash it away for at least 2-3 months.

    Willl Talstar P (Talstar One) control and kill Bagworms in my pine trees?
    Will this product kill bagworm infestation in my pine trees in july?

    Talstar P (Talstar One) is a great product to use for Bagworms on Pine trees. In fact, it is our number on recommendation for Bag worms. Yes, Talstar will kill insects shortly after they come in contact with it. It is important to keep in mind that bagworms are very difficult to control with chemical methods once they have matured and formed their protective "bags."     Can I use Talstar directly on tomato plants?
    I have stink bugs destroying my tomatoes. Would they absorb (the tomatoes) the Talstar if I spray it on them?

    You can absolutely NOT use Talstar on any kind of edible vegetation.  If you have already you will need to discard of those items.  Unfortunately the only product we have at this time that is labeled for treatment of stink bugs on edible crops is Venom.

    What if a pet (Cat or Dog) eats a bug that has been killed with Talstar P?
    Will a cat from a kitten to adult size or a small dog get sick or die from ingesting an insect that has been killed by this spray? Say a carpenter ant or something?

    Talstar P (Talstar One) is one of our best sellers for all around pest control. Talstar kills over 75 insect pests and can be used for indoor pest control, outdoor pest control, has a long residual, so it keeps on killing pests for over three months after you've sprayed it, is odorless, dries clear, leaves no stains, is non-irritating to the skin, won't break down easily with rainfall and is safe to use around pets. Be sure animals are out of the area while Talstar is being applied and then they can return as soon as the area is dry. Talstar is only designed to kill small insects.     The best way to spray Talstar on lawn.
    When spraying for mosquitoes, is it better to spray a couple days before or a couple days after mowing? Or same day before/after? Also, is it better to spray a day following rain? Or after a few dry days?

    For the best application of Talstar P to your lawn, you want to first mow the grass a couple days ahead of application. You want to make sure there is no rain in the forecast at least 4 hours after application, to ensure the Talstar will stick. It is safe to spray Talstar in and around ornamentals, trees, shrubs, lawn, and can be used indoors as well.

    İ have chickens in my back yard, is talstar safe for chickens?

    As long as you keep the chickens out of the area while you treat and until the areas are completely dry they will be safe. It also will not hurt the chickens if they eat any insects that have died from the Talstar.

    Yes. Talstar P can be safely used around pets and children as long as you follow the label instructions; all pets and children need to be out of the area while application is being made and they can return as soon as the application is dry.

    Which product should I use to treat sod webworms in saint-augustine grass?
    I live in Texas, south of Houston (Angleton Tx. 77515). Which one of these two products ( new Cyonara for Lawns or Talstar P) will work the best to treat my lawn to get rid of the sod webworms? Will I need to treat it a second time after a certain time frame?

    The most popular product for sod webworms is Talstar. Talstar is very effective on most insects and it is gentle to plants. Time applications to control young larvae, if possible. Spot treatments may be applied when infestations are first detected and the damaged area is small. The treatment will be most effective if applied in the early evening when larvae begin feeding. Please check with your local cooperative extension office to see if a second generation is possible in one season in your region.

    Can I spray another application of Talstar P for army worms? I sprayed four days ago.
    I applied one ounce of Talstar One four days ago at dusk. I noticed tonight that there are still moths and worms. Is it safe to apply another application, or is it to soon? How long does it take to get rid of these pests? If it is to soon, do you have any other suggestions? Thank you so much.

    The application rate of 1 ounce of Talstar One per gallon of water is correct, as is treating in the evening when the insects have come out of hiding and are exposed. You can retreat after 2 weeks in most cases. You should notice a reduction in the number of army worms within the first few days but because the moths can migrate from just about anywhere, you may continue to see them (the moths do not cause damage).

    What is the best product to use to spray outer perimeter of house for pest control?

    Our most popular general use product is called Talstar.  It is widely used by pest control companies because it is labeled for almost every insect you could have a problem with and you can use it outside the home as well as inside, it is odorless and very safe for use around children and pets.  It is a liquid concentrate that you mix with water in a one gallon hand pump sprayer.  It will last for 60 to 90 days outside in between treatments.  It is also labeled for lawn and ornamental use, and can be used on trees, plants, bushes and shrubs for all sorts of ornamental pests including Japanese beetles, mosquitoes, and other leaf eating pests.
