    Turtle trap

The trap is not quite what I had expected. The outer cage seems to be fine. The trap door is hard to set. You have to reach inside to pull bar up. The latch is rather flimsey and the trip plate needs a lot a work. Trips way to easy. Have had to reset the trap four times and without a turtle in it. Would not recommend this trap.

    Turtle Invasion Explosion

    By Vann on 05/01/2020

Set the trap 3 times only to find it closed next morning. Took it to my shop and did some adjustment then back to the pond. Next 3 days I caught 3 huge turtles and 2 the size of a kitchen plate. You will have to gently lower it into position but If you adjust it, it is great!

    Works like a charm

Awesome trap. Caught two right away. I just had to adjust the hook for proper tension on the release and it was ready to go.

    Great trap

    By John on 04/21/2023

We trapped two huge snapping turtles the day after putting the trap out. I was skeptical but it was easy to use and worked great

    Immediate catch!

    By Dave on 06/23/2023

Hung a raw chicken leg with zip-ties and our elusive snapping turtle was captured in the first 15-minutes! In spite of the violent ripping, the chicken leg remained secured, but most of the flesh was gone. Approximately 20-Lbs and it tried escaping by straining against the trap-door, but the trap more than held its own.
