OUTDOOR USE AREAS

Corrals, drive-in theatres, drive-in restaurants, feed lots, gardens, homes, parks, golf courses, playgrounds, recreational areas, swine lots, urban areas, zoos

PREMISE SPRAY APPLICATION METHODS:

To Control:

  • Mosquitoes, nuisance flies, wasps, hornets, yellow jackets, and skippers: Dilute 6.4 fl oz per gallon of spray dilution (1 part concentrate in 19 parts water).
  • Ants, Crickets, Earwigs, Fleas and Ticks (including ticks that carry Lyme disease): Under normal conditions, dilute 3.2 fl oz per gallon of dilution (1 part concentrate in 39 parts water). For severe infestations, use 6.4 fl oz per gallon of dilution (1 part concentrate in 19 parts water). Also treat 400 linear feet with a 6 inch spray band. For localized infestations of these insects in areas where there are weeds or bushy non-crop areas, spray infested areas thoroughly. For ants, thoroughly wet hills and runways.

  • Fire Ant Control: Mix 6.4 fl. oz. per gallon of dilution (1:19) and apply using a sprinkler can or similar equipment that provides a gentle application. Gently apply 1 gallon of the mixture over the surface of each mound. Thoroughly wet mound and surrounding area to a diameter of 4 feet. For best results apply in cool weather 65 - 80 degress F or early in the morning or late in the evening. Treat new mounds as they appear. Do not disturb the mound prior to treatment. Treat all mounds in the vicinity and treat all colonies, which have not yet constructed mounds. Do not use equipment that produces a pressurized spray since this will disturb fire ants and cause migration, reducing product effectiveness.

  • Cockroaches, Waterbugs, Palmetto Bugs, Ants, Silverfish, Firebrats, Spiders, Crickets, Millipedes, Centipedes, Sowbugs, Pillbugs, Clover Mites, Cheese Mites, Granary Weevils, Rice Weevils, Confused Flour Beetles, Rust Red Flour Beetles, Saw-toothed Grain Beetles, Spider Beetles, Cigarette Beetles, Drug Store Beetles, Darkling Beetles, Mealworms, Grain Mites, Cadelles, and Lesser Houseflies and other manure-breeding flies:

NOT FOR USE IN OVERHEAD UNITS WHILE IN THE BARN

    By Di on 04/22/2019

Need to read label or you could be killing your horse or yourself. Not to be sprayed while in the barn. Cheap because the inert is toxic. You get what you pay for

Keeps mosquitos at bay; however, this season is actually harder because of the rain we've had but still it works for the most part.

Q
Other Application Methods Besides Misting

We do not have a misting system. How else can we apply this? Can it be sprayed with a sprayer? If so, what type of sprayer do you recommend? Thanks

A
Vector-Ban Plus can be applied with a sprayer. We would recommend using a Chapin Premier 1 Gallon Sprayer. You would mix 6.4 fl. oz. per gallon of water. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

Q
Can the Vector-Ban Plus be used in a propane or electric fogger?
A
The Vector-Ban Plus cannot be used in any type of thermal fogger, i.e propane foggers.  We do carry the ULD BP-100 and ULD BP-300 that can be used in that type of equipment

Q
Can Vector-Ban Plus use to treat bed bugs infestation
A

Vector-Ban Plus is labeled for bed bugs but would not be our recommendation in effectively treating an infestation.  It is not recommended to fog a house for bed bugs.  Studies show that fogging for bed bugs can make a problem worse and make them spread out more.  Also, fogging only kills those bugs that are out in the open at the time you are applying.

We recommend our bed bug kits which contain the same types of products that professional companies and are proven to work under current bed bug strains. The kits have a very high success rate and come with full instructions on how to apply the products properly.
