4 of 5 stars  3 way max review
By Wyatt in Missouri on 05/01/2016

Product works great and shows visible signs on weeds within 3 days. Shipping was an issue as the first gallon I received had the cap broken off and replacement gallon was actually leaking through the box. I am a certified applicator so I plan on ordering a lot more product from do my own pest and hopefully shipping will be improved upon.

5 of 5 stars  working fine
By Alan in Saco Maine on 06/14/2017

I bought this so I could try to "control" the weeds getting into my lawn from neighbors yards. I actually got it really quick. Then the rain started, It rained for 3 weeks....When I had the chance to use it, It seems to work well. The weeds are dying off. I would use this again and suggest to others that this is good.

QLooking for something to kill Spurge and help control crabgrass would 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide work?

A3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide is labeled for spurge and other broadleaf weeds. It does not control crabgrass. For crabgrass control, many of our customers have found that Drive XLR8 is effective. Please refer to the product label for full instructions on application and to determine if your turfgrass species is tolerable. Please let us know if you have any questions.

QIs this product a Pre or Post emergent herbicide? Is there a combination you have?
I am wanting a combination herbicide that is both pre & post emergent? Do you have any recomendations

A

3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide is recommended to applied to broadleaf weeds that are actively growing therefore it is used as a post emergent. Possible follow-up applications may be required for dense infestations of perennial and biennial weeds. Without knowing what specific type of weeds are you are want to treat as a pre and post emergent, we are unable to recommend a specific product. We do carry a product called Dimension 2EW Herbicide that provides preemergence and early postemergence control of crabgrass, and season-long control of crabgrass, goosegrass, foxtail, spurge and bluegrass annual (Poa annua). Please check the label for your specific weed you are wanting to control.

QWhat herbicide should I use to treat 1 acre of Bermuda in Phoenix, AZ for dandelions?
I want to control dandelions. What are my best spray or spreader options

A

For post-emergent control of dandelions, a liquid spray will be more effective than a granule. 3 Way Max would be a great choice for dandelion and many other broadleaf weeds in most types of turfgrass. Please make sure to check the product label before use to ensure this product is safe to use in the areas where you need to apply it. For Bermuda grass, you would use 3 to 4 pints (48-64 oz) per Acre in 5 to 220 gallons of water

QHow is 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide for purslane?
I have sprayed it with numerous 2-4-D treatments and it doesn't touch my purslane. I have had to go purchase other products for weeds that the straight 2-4-D didn't touch and am looking for something to knock the purslane down for good.

A

3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide is labeled for purslane. This product is also labeled for various other broadleaf weeds as well. The mixing rate is 1.1 - 1.5 oz. per 1-2 gallons of water. This will treat 1000 square feet. A good option may be to use a surfactant with this product to help it coat the plant more and kill the weeds more effectively.
