What ratio do you mix Remedy Ultra Herbicide, diesel, and water for thorny vine control?

What's the spot treatment ratio of diesel, water, and Remedy? I'm mixing both and I do not want to spray straight diesel everywhere. I have an extremely hard to kill vine with thorns, and huge potatoes as the roots.

Answer:

Per the product label for Remedy Ultra Herbicide, Growing point and leaf base (crown) treament:
Prepare a 2% v/v solution of Remedy Ultra in diesel or fuel oil (13 fl oz of Remedy Ultra in 5 gallons of spray mixture). Streamline Basal Bark Treatment:
To control or suppress susceptible woody plants, mix 25 to 30 gallons of Remedy Ultra with 10% penetrant such as Cidekick in enough oil to make 100 gallons of spray mixture. Streamline basal bark treatment are most effective on stems less than 4 inches in basal diameter. Apply with a backpack or knapsack sprayer using equipment which provides a directed straight stream spray. Apply the spray in a 2- to 3-inch wide band to one side of stems less than 3 inches in basal diameter. When the optimum amount of spray mixture is applied, the treated zone should widen to encircle the stem within approximately 30 minutes. Treat both sides of stems whic are 3 to 4 inches in basal diameter. Direct the spray at bark that is approximately 12 to 24 inches above gorund. Oil - Water Emulsions:
Prepare oil-water emulsions using diesel fuel, fuel oil, or kerosene plus and emulsifier such as Sponto 712 or Triton X- 100. Use a jar test to check spray mix compaitbility before preparing oil-water emulsion sprays in the mixing tank. Going by the label, it doesn't indicate to use both. Using both would consider to be an off label usage. It it recommended to follow the label and just using one or the other.
