It is being applied to the a gravel lane to keep weeds down. I'd like to get a jump next year on things, and get this on early, but not sure how early it should be applied? I use it on our gravel lane to keep the weeds down, and it works a treat for that!
The best time to applying pre-emergents vary from region to region. In Nebraska, the best time to apply a pre-emergent like Surflan Pro would be from March to May (Spring) and from August to November (Fall).
