I purchased the NY Bed Beg Kit. I live in a 800 sq ft one-bedroom apartment in a building with a lot of tenant turnover. I would like to apply something that gives fast extermination and is also long term effective for both bed bugs and fleas.
There is not an IGR included in the New York Bed Bug Kit or any of our bed bug kits. There really has not been enough research done to show how effective IGR's are in bed bug control. Gentrol IGR is the only IGR that is actually labeled for use on bed bugs. However, it is not 100% guaranteed to work every single time in every home. With that lack of 100%, we don't want to make you pay for it as part of a kit, so we give it to you as an option to purchase separately should you choose to do so.
