Wil Fertilome Tree and Shrub Systemic Insect Drench kill ponderosa pine spider mites?

If this is effective on pine spider mites, what is the best time to treat the tree? I've heard to get it done in March, do you agree?

Answer:

No, Fertilome Tree and Shrub Systemic Insect Drench is not labeled for spider mites.  There are no systemic products that are currently on the market for spider mites. We normally recommend using Avid Miticide. This can be applied every seven days for 2-3 weeks and then monthly for maintenance directly to the plant you are treating.
