Melissa from Minneapolis, Mn writes

Will Clearys 3336F Fungicide be more effective than the granular form to treat hosta for Sclerotium rolfsii?

It's a problem in multiple large flower bed and starting to affect other perennials. Used Clearys 3336 but wondering if the DG Lite would be more effective.

Answer:

Neither Clearys 3336F Fungicide nor the Clearys 3336 DG Lite Granular Fungicide are labeled for Sclerotium rolfsii, also known as southern blight. Disarm G Fungicide is a great option for this and is safe for use around hosta plants. The rate is 2.3-4.6 lbs per 1000 square feet. This can be reapplied every 14-28 days as needed.
