Fran from Laramie Wyoming writes

Will Fertilome Brush Killer kill the roots of my aspen trees or ather plants?

I'm trying to kill wild roses around my aspen trees.

Answer:

The Fertilome Brush Killer and Stump Killer is specifically designed to kill trees and brush so this would not be the product for your needs. You would want to use a broad leaf herbicide like Hi Yield 2, 4-D to control the wild roses without harming the trees. The only way to use the Fertilome without harming the trees is to very carefully directly spot spray the rose bushes or chop into the trunk of the roses and apply/paint it into the main system of the plant. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
