Will Phantom help kill Phorid Flies?

I'm replacing my sewer line and will also be removing as much wet dirt as possible - Can I mix this product and spray around new installed line and dirt to help kill remaining flies in soil? Will it have some kind of residual value? Then they will back fill with concrete

Answer:

Phantom Termiticide/Insecticide is not labeled for phorid flies and cannot be used out in the lawn in soil.   Talstar P would be a better option along with letting any soil completely dry out as this will eliminate breeding site.
