Will Sucker Punch work on Gamble Oak suckers that are 18" tall?

This spring the suckers came up all around the oak and the suckers are now 18" tall. I bought the spray applicator of Sucker Punch. How much do I spray? Do I trip the leaves & spray the stalks or leave the leaves & spray them?

Answer:

According to the label for Sucker Punch Ready To Use, this product should only be used on suckers that are no more than 10 inches. You will need to prune them off first and allow them to grow back but not more than 10 inches. The maximum single application for ornamental woody plants is 3 fl. oz. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. The maximum annual application for ornamental woody plants is 9 fl. oz. of product per 1,000 sq. ft.
