Avert Roach Bait Gel is an excellent choice for controlling cockroaches indoors and outdoors, because it is strong enough to kill even those roaches that are resistant to most other pesticides. It is also easy to use. Simply apply the gel to cracks and crevices, void spaces, and other locations where roaches may be living, harboring and breeding. Inspect periodically and reapply as necessary. Safe for use as a crack and crevice treatment in food handling areas. 4 -30g reservoirs per box.

Unique Formulation:
Avert Roach Bait Gel is unlike other bait gels in that it’s active ingredient, abamectin, is derived from a natural fungus found in the soil which is extremely toxic to cockroaches. Because it is one of the only bait gels that use abamectin, the likelihood that cockroaches will develop a resistance to the active ingredient is greatly reduced. Avert also uses an enhanced formula containing higher levels of protein, which results in higher levels of bait attraction.
Avert can be used practically everywhere roaches live and breed:
• Indoor Use: Cracks and crevices, undersides of furniture, around sinks and storage areas, behind baseboards, around doors and windows, behind and under cabinets, drawers, and shelving, under and behind appliances, inside crawl spaces.
• Outdoor Use: Cracks and crevices around windows and doors, porches, screens, eaves, patios, garages, under stairways, in crawlspaces, tree holes, and fence cracks.

Avert Cockroach Bait Gel
By Rocky on October 22, 2010
Verified PurchaseI find it very effective to use in our office and at home. You can see results within a week. I don't know how effective the spray is, but I can vouch for the gel. Com- pare to other products in the market, Avert is excellent and very deserving of the 5 star grade I gave it!!

QHow can I kill cockroach eggs?
AAvert Cockroach Bait Gel does not kill cockroach eggs. In fact there is no product that will kill cockroach eggs. If you see an egg you can throw it away or crush it. If there is an egg in a wall void or somewhere that you cannot see, there is no way to kill the egg until it hatches. That's why you should place a roach gel and/or spray so there is always something there to kill the babies once they hatch. Our Roach Kit has a very high success rate and works great!

QDoes Avert Cockroach bait gel come with a needle applicator tip?
I was thinking of ordering the Avert Cockroach bait gel on line. Is this kit supplied with a needle attachment to dispense the gel? Also, I was looking for a gun that the cartridge would fit in to - where do I find that?
AThe Avert Cockroach Gel Bait, as well as all of the other roach and ant gel's that we sell, all come with needle attachments as well as a plunger to dispense the gel. Usually you would need a bait gun if were going to be applying lots of gel over a period of time. We do carry two types of bait guns. One is a basic plastic model called the Masterline Professional Bait Gun and the other is a very professional version usually used by pest control companies called the Maxforce Bait Gun Kit. The Avert gel does come with a basic plastic plunger to apply by hand.
September 22, 2011Laura from Laredo Tx asked:
QIt says you changed your product for another brand. Is this correct?
AWe do not manufacture Avert Cockroach Bait Gel, but the manufacturer has discontinued the Avert Roach Gel and they have replaced it with the Alpine Cockroach Gel Bait. The Alpine Cockroach Gel is highly effective and it is also a reduced risk product which means it is safer to use in places where children and pets may be present.
