Versatile Ultra Low Volume Fogger
The Fogmaster Micro-Jet ULV® 7401 fogger allows precise adjustment of particle size, under 7 micron VMD, for ultra low volume application. This allows use of more concentrated fogging solutions, and speeds up treatment time -- at typical ULV application rates, the Micro-Jet covers 2-4,000 cubic feet per minute.)
A 10-turn precision needle valve controls liquid output and droplet size. Set the valve to a low flow rate to produce near-invisible ULV droplets. For heavier fogs and mists, Increase the flow rate. Once the valve has been set, you can use the vernier calibration to return to the same setting, or snap a lock ring to prevent accidental changes.
Chemical flow rate with the Fogmaster Micro-Jet ULV fogger is easily calibrated in the field to adjust for differences in liquid density, viscosity or surface tension. And since the Micro-Jet handles both water- and oil-based liquids, this one machine can satisfy all your fogging requirements.
The Micro-Jet ULV fogger is widely used in schools, restaurants, zoos, barns, hotels, and similar locations requiring professional application. Light-weight, and supported by our five-year limited warranty, the Fogmaster Micro-Jet ULV is an outstanding choice.

Fogmaster 7401
By Myron on June 3, 2011
Verified PurchaseThe Fogmaster Micro Jet ULV 7401 performs as advertised. The spray adjustment is an excellent feature for projecting fine fog mists into tight corners and pockets. We used this unit to fog our basement with a chemical solution. Spraying the joists was a bit of a task however because the unit is heavy when full. Suggest filling tank only half way when using above the shoulders. The fogger must be moved slowly as described in the instructions, be as perpendicular to the surface whenever possible and 8-12 inches from your target to get good penetration on wood surfaces. When purchasing this unit be sure you have the correct respirator, goggles, and clothing.

Worth Every Penny
By Ray on August 6, 2011
Verified PurchaseUnit is used in an orchid greenhouse for a variety of pesticides and disinfectant/algaecides, and does an excellent job of filling the volume. Had to play with the droplet size a bit to ensure uniform "float", but that's easy with the control dial.

Works well
By Bob on January 18, 2012Bought this thing to run beneficial bacterial through for some greenhouses and it works great. Only thing I don't like is that it is loud and a little more power hungry then expected, 6 amps! But this unit works great!

Great fogger
By Abdul on August 7, 2012I have used this Fogger to fog fungus problem in Crawl space. Then I sanitized my HVAC duct using it and then fogged the whole house. I used 11% H2O2. which leaves no chemical residue. But if you have a thick growth you may need the sprayer to spray directly on the fungal growth. This fogger is light, even when full I was able to hold it up to fog into by wall registers. It can produce fine mist to thick spray. I can be used for many other applications also. Worth te cost - if it lasts. I've used it a week for about 10 hours of use time - so far no problems.

I CAN'T WRITE ANY LOUDER...
By Kevin on May 21, 2013
Verified PurchaseThis fogger is awsome!!! I got three E-mails from Do My Own Pest Control. About 8 weeks before writing this. I used it several times with liquid products. Three differant products. The results were out standing. The volume of air and pestaside made a nice fine mist that covered everything, top to bottom. Its been a couple weeks now and not a spider anywhere.

August 10, 2010Jim asked:
QIs the Fogmaster Micro Jet ULV Fogger? What's the farthest it can shoot?
Can it be used for mold remediation?
AThe Fogmaster Micro Jet ULV fogger is about the same loudness as a vacuum cleaner. It can shoot about 10 to 15 feet, but it comes out as a fog and very small particles, 5 - 10 microns small, so it more or less gets airborne and fills the room rather than shoot out like a mist with larger droplets. It can be used for mold remediation depending on the product you used, but you would definitely need adequate protection and a good respirator. We do sell a professional safety kit which has everything you need.
September 1, 2011Rachel from Houston,texas asked:
QCan the fogmaster 7401 be used to kill mosquitoes in back yard? Want to place fogger on deck railing.
Please let me know if a different type of fogger would be better to use to rid back yard of moquitos. We would also like to spray our grass to kill mosquitos and other insects, any suggestions?
AThe 7401 could be placed on your deck for the backyard, but fogging solutions only provide temporary control of mosquitoes. Talstar is our most popular selling product for mosquito control. It is a liquid concentrate that you mix with water and apply using any hand pump sprayer or backpack sprayer. The key is to apply it to all shrubs, trees, and other foliage around the house or patio you are trying to provide relief at. It should be directed not only on top of the leaves and plants, but on the underside of the leaves as well which is where the mosquitoes hang out. It should be applied every 30 days for optimum control.
September 25, 2011Jonathan asked:
QIs there a fogger that you can use while people are around?
ANo. Any pesticide that can be fogged, including natural pesticides, have product labels that demand that the space being fogged be cleared of people and pets during the fogging process and for about 2 hours after the process.
August 18, 2011Patrick from New York, Ny asked:
QI have just purchased this fogger; I want to use it in the crawlspace under my house
What are suggested products for control of ants, spiders, and centipedes?
What are suggested products to reduce musty odor in crawlspace?
Thanks!
AShockwave Fogging concentrate would be a great choice for your needs. Shockwave is labeled for over 75 different types of pests and can be used in your fogger in the crawlspace. Bac A Zap can be fogged and would be a good choice to help eliminate odors in your crawlspace and other confined areas.
April 9, 2012Emerson from New York asked:
QCan I use the Fogmaster indoors to kill roaches and other insects? what chemical would be good for that also?
AThe Fogmaster Micro Jet fogger can be used indoors to help control certain insects. Without knowing exactly what kind of structure you are treating it is very difficult to tell you the best product to use for your application. We do carry a full line of fogging concentrates which you can see by following this link: ULV Fogging Solutions. We encourage you to read the product label which are on each individual product page so you can find the product that will fit your needs.
May 8, 2012Phil from California asked:
QCan this unit be used as a stationary unit to fill a greenhouse?
I want to fog a few 10x10 ft greenhouses. I would rather not be in the room while this happens. I was wondering if I can set this unit on the ground with a timer, point it upwards and just let it fill the room. I have some very large tomato plants that are very difficult to fully cover with a hand held sprayer and want to be sure they get full coverage through a thick canopy.
AThis unit can be set on the ground and pointed upwards as you suggested. That is not a problem. It does not come with a timer though, but you could hook the power cord up to one.
December 14, 2012Tom from Little Silver Nj asked:
QCan I use this fogger in a crawlspace by running it unattended for a period of time?
My crawl space is about 28x36x4 so I realize I may need to move it to each corner. I trying to avoid having to spray each joist individually.
AYes you can use the fogger in the crawlspace and just move it around as needed.
