Overture 35 WP Insecticide has a mode of action that cannot be found in other products allowing it to combat thrips (even western flower thrips) and lepidopterous insects that may have developed resistance to other products. Use Overture 35 WP Insecticide in a rotation with other products in your greenhouse and remember that Overture 35 WP Insecticide has little effect on beneficial insects. This wettable powder is 35% pyridalyl and intended for enclosed greenhouses on a variety of plants.
Overture 35 WP Insecticide works primarily on contact but also works through ingestion as well. On many plants (such as chrysanthemums, hibiscus, poinsettia, and gerbera daisy) Overture 35 WP Insecticide demonstrates translaminar activity allowing for control of thrips even when you may not be able thoroughly spray under the leaf.
